Asahi Kasei Plastics Singapore (APS) attended and showcased its first overseas exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia. This exhibition is a yearly event held in Indonesia and APS was involved in the 26th GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show. This year exhibition took placed from 2nd August to 12th Aug 2018. The opening ceremony was conducted by Indonesia President Joko Widodo. The event showcased and featured the launch of up to 300 different brands in the automotive industry.

APS took this opportunity to exhibit and market our 3 engineering plastic products, LeonaTM (Polyamide 66), XyronTM (mPPE) and TenacTM (Polyacetal) together with technical solutions to automotive industry. A portfolio of 4 Wheelers and 2 Wheelers parts produced by Asahi Kasei engineering plastics were also established and showcased during the exhibition.  After the event, Asahi Kasei was show cased in “The Daily Jakarta Shinbun” じゃかるた新聞.
